My brother...
Hey all I just got word maybe 30 mins ago that my brother John just went into emergancy surgery for an aortic dissection... For those that remember when I went through this it was a hair raising experience and it is the same for me going through it with my bro so far away. I ask everyone to pray for him and my family in our time of need. I'll fill the board in on things as I learn them myself.

Well surgery went great and it seems all his labs are in good order.
However, since surgery he's flat-lined twice and they have no clue why he isn't stable. They are supposed to be having a specialist come in to take a look.
Unfortunately all this is a waiting game...

Well talked to my family earlier and the specialist changed around the meds and now my bro is fine. He just needs some good ole R&R now to recover. Initial recovery can take upwards of 2 monthes however it takes about 3 years for the body to really mend everything back together and restore you back to your original condition.

Glad to hear that everything went smoothly with your Brother. That's some crazy ass shit, and when I heard you say that I had flashbacks of when you were in...not cool. Glad to see that you both have made it through and look forward to hearing about your Bro's speedy recovery.
