The Kill Bills!

Post by Andrea »

Did anyone see the Kill Bills?
I've seen one but i just want to see your opinion. My opinion so far is that they kick ass! The director rules [and i would hope all of you know it's Quintin Territino (sp)]

When I went to see the first one, It was a little off, but that's the Director's style. I think going with my grandfather kind of ruined it since he never likes any movie that was created after 1970.

I thought the action scenes were pretty cool, and that Anime scene was intense. That little girl has problems!

All in all it wasn't a bad movie, will probably end up in my DVD collection one day.

I've only seen volume 1.
I didn't have any motivation to want to see them b/c of all the ype, but I eventually sat down with matt and actually enjoyed it.
I like Quentin's arsty-style, even if the B&W scenes were simply so he didn't have to edit out that she was hacking people apart. Those scenes are in color on the Japanese version.

I thought they were just alright really. The second was much better then the first. You got more story line and plot and not just a ton of senseless killing. I very likely won't be adding this to my collection anytime soon. Best bet if you are considering it is to wait till they release the movies together as 1 as it was intended.

The Kill Bills are two of is the best movies I've seen.
Definitely a empowering movie for women everywhere.

I liked it so much, I'm going as Beatrice Kiddo for Halloween. All I need is a yellow motorcycle jumpsuit, some fake blood to splatter myself with and blue contact lenses. Oh and the best part, my brother's Gattana sword strapped on my back.

I don't know if they'll let me carry a live blade into the Freaker's Ball though....
