Just got their CD, I thought it rocked. To me they are like a softcore porn version of Kittie. It still turns you on and in some ways is more beautiful, but it lacks that certain something I'm gropping for.
P.S. For anyone who doubts Chicks own in hardcore, go see a Kittie show. I was blown away, its like the best of every world, HOT HOT chicks with tats and peircings, that sing awsome hardcore music. And plus their from canada, where all the true hotties come from (note to travis: Avril), (also ignoring L.A. where anyone can be a hottie for a price).

I love their Cd! the only problem I had with it, was the song "my Immortal" was much better in the movie Daredevil. the fact that they added violins to the back ground took away a certain emptiness that the song had, and the song I felt was supposed to sound empty cause it is sad.
On a better note the song Imaginary is my favorite, very kick ass!

This album was less than nothing, I cant sell this fu**ing sh**, do you know whats happening to me out there? Violet ground told me to go fu** myself, tower records told me to shove this record up my ass! Do you know what it feels to be told to have a record shoved up your ass? I'm going to lose my job over this!Just got their CD, I thought it rocked. To me they are like a softcore porn version of Kittie. Other than that rant, this album was awsome, I think the chick is kinda cute, and also has a good voice, and doesn't make up she is a carpet muncher to sell records like TaTu and Justin Timberlake, oh wait, Justin is a guy! I forgot, he looked like a damn sheep noe he looks like a 5 foot 10 penis! ok ok ok! sorry, I'm in a bad mood, back to the subject, this was a good album and I agree with Bob on this.
Indeed Bob, hit the hand! But one thing, I don't know who Travis is! I know two people. And plus their from canada, where all the true hotties come from (note to travis: Avril)

Hardcore?
"P.S. For anyone who doubts Chicks own in hardcore, go see a Kittie show." - Flamebo
Do you even know what hardcore is? Kittie is part of the nu-metal scene (I use nu not because its their perticular genre, its because I can't call it "new" in the sense that it's even original)
Hardcore bands like Warzone, Agnostic Front, Murphy's Law, etc and the scene is based out of New York.
Kittie is from Canada. The only good band to come out of Canada is Rush. Rush can smoke those chicks.
Kittie played Ozzfest a few years back...SLAYER AND PANTERA have played Ozzfest too. Slayer and Pantera are speed-metal and thrash-metal (Slayer being speed, Pantera being thrash). Those two bands aren't "hardcore". The idea of "hardcore" bands for the most part is complete utter bullshit. Just cause you play "heavy" doesn't make you tough.
My example: Limp Bizkit (you know, that band you guys all listened to until everyone else stopped listening to them) <~~~ Not everyone on this board, just the majority. I know who is and isn't with it.

I've listened to Evanescence for quite some time now. Ever since Daredevil came out in theaters and I heard the song Bring me to Life. I checked it out as well as the other songs and the entire CD pretty much kicks ass. I've listened to the entire CD then put it back on again. It's cool stuff. If you have not heard it yet, check them out and see what you think.

thanks, Ann.
If you want to hear two awesome Evanescence songs, see if you can find songs called Anywhere and October. Both songs are slower acoustic ballads, but both are friggin awesome.
Course, you could always get them from me.
