I need to go back to watching this, I feel like a kid again I'll write a review later.

After a little investigation I found out that they actually made a Mach 5 which is very very cool. It's made from a Corvette and procedes go to charity. Too bad they get like 200,000$ at an auction though.

I'm on a whole Speed Racer kick right now and I will be till... oh say Knight Rider comes out with a DVD compolation. But the Speed Racer DVD is 5 Hrs long with 11 full episodes. I've only had time to watch the first one.

Episode 1: We learn about the fabulous Mach 5. Pops quits his job at the automotive firm when they turn down his idea for a new engine. After leaving the company we realize the fact that this car is so bad ass people want to steal it in terms of economic espionage. Pops never wanted Speed to be a racer but he must in order to win $ so they can further modify the Mach 5, and prove to the industry just how bad ass their ride is.

I remember this cartoon very well from my youth. It kicked so much arse! Eric and I look at the car, Shawn looks at the chick. Thats just funny.

Episode 2: Speed is in the most Desperate race of his life!!Will he finish it? or will it finish him??

While in the midst of a race Speed finds out that Pops hid the design to the Bad ass Mach 5 on the cars windsheild in special ink. Which is exactly why the shady "Acey Duecey" and his goons are after him. They eventually get the car and speed smashes the windsheild to prevent them from getting the plans. Of course him and his badass car win the race, but they suspend the prize $ and Pops still doesn't want him to be a racer.
