My hosting provider's MySQL service has been dying over and over and over! Apparently some dumb ass created a MySQL chat-room that raped the resources of the server causing all of its users to crash. This not only affected me, it affected over 50 people.
Unfortunately there is absolutely nothing that I can do about this, it's completely out of my control until I can afford to host my own pages. I have switched the NJROTC message bord over to a new MySQL user just in case I ever max out user limits. This will reduce the chance that my board will go down because of usage limits.
Just a FYI, if you ever see that you can't connect to the database, it's my host's problem, nothing that I have any control over.
