Barenaked Ladies, Greatest hits. Album: Disc one 1991-2001.

Once again, I wasted my money on this CD. It has great hits that I liked by them. There was other stuff that was live and certin songs that sucked, compared to the songs i liked like "What is sleep" and "Alcohole" there was just pure crap on this CD. I love the Barenaked Ladies but i have to give this CD a * * out of 5.
I recomed you don't buy this and spend $10.98 on Vinila Ice Greatest hits then this crap.

I have this particular CD. And I really enjoy it!

There are some songs which I didn't care for, but no band can or will produce a CD that you memorize each song's lyrics, without fail.

Reasons this is a good CD to have in your collection: "Shoebox" - Even though it's not on any of their other recordings, it is a damned good song, a feel good, not so feel good upbeat awesome song. I will forever love listening to a song about a shoebox of li-ee-ii-yiii-yiiis...

Another reason: The live single, which I believe was entitled "You're a Good Boy" is a solid song. I don't like live recordings on CDs, it just isn't "RIGHT" IMO, But this song is really good.

I actually favor this particular CD, even though it's a bit misleading in the "greatest hits" department.

I recommend it to any BNL fan or persons looking to get into BNL.

Jen,
The reason I didn't like the CD, was because they left out alot of my favorite songs. I love the song "What is sleep?"
This cd was missleading, but it could of been worse.
Thanks for your input Jen.

Why thanks :) I enjoy typing it up for you, hon.

Yeah, misleading is correct... Question though, and not to sound rude at all... do you read the song list before you buy? I always have to check out if the song I want will or won't be on that CD... :)

I got the CD through Columbia house, they didn't tell me what songs were going to be on it.
