Animal Crossing

If you have ever even contemplated renting this vile piece of trash, stop dead or be mauled.
Animal Crossing is basically this stupid game in which you control a character who is apparently human who moves into a town with some strange looking animals. (Hippos and Bears, etc). Then to get money you run errands for the stupid losers (stuff like "hey take this volley ball three steps over cuz I'm too damned lazy!") and it's generally a drag.
Most importantly, it's completely REAL TIME. If you get online at 10pm, its dark and everyone is asleep in the town. If you cannot play during "business" hours for the store, you might as well not play. Also some of the characters are real assholes, but I got them beat. They constantly gossip and you can teach them new words... hehehe *wicked wicked*
Anyways, I admit I played this game when I rented it. I basically gave up real life for a couple of days to explore the fascinating world of these critters.
And once my rental was due back, I never hesitated to take it in.
Do yourselves a favor, and steer clear.
